Somewhere between my obsession with cozy nights, slow creativity, and craving a little peace that still felt personal, this idea came to me:
What if there was a coloring book where people like me were actually reflected?
Not just abstract patterns or cutesy characters. Real love. Real joy. Real bodies. Real diversity.
So I created it.
🖤 Why This Book Matters
As a Black, queer, polyamorous woman, I know what it’s like to rarely see your reality represented.
Especially in something as simple and healing as a coloring book.
That’s why I made This Is Love: An Inclusive Coloring Book, a soft space to color, decompress, and feel seen.
It’s full of cozy, everyday moments featuring:
- LGBTQ+ couples and queer families
- Interracial relationships and blended joy
- Black love in all its softness and strength
- Disabled bodies with mobility aids and affirming presence
- Real people doing regular things in a world where we exist without having to explain
This isn’t your typical kid’s coloring book.
This is an adult coloring experience rooted in joy, softness, and visibility.
